New year, new plans
I planned on writing this post towards the end of 2009.
It was going to tell how I wanted to get this blog up and going in the new year.
It was going to say how I plan on writing at least once a week, or close the blog down for good, since I never seem to have anything coherent that I think other people really want to hear.
Then December 15th happened. My dad passed away suddenly from a car accident. No one was ready for it, none of us were prepared, but all of us were numb.
To recap some things, we moved in with my parents in May, due to financial difficulties in this lovely economy. Mom and dad FINALLY bought dad's dream house. They closed on August 3rd, and moved in August 15th.
Dad had 4 months in his house. He had so many things he wanted to do in the next year to the house. He always said the only way he was leaving this house was in a box....
On to things that won't make me cry.
I do have some things in the works for this blog. Next post will be my annual list of books read in the previous year. I also found some cool ideas on other blogs I read, so look for weekly and monthly things coming soon.
Closing this blog down is not an option I want to take, I just need to start making ME a priority again and not sit and play games on Facebook all night.
